We are very excited that you are interested in joining Winetasters. For more than 30 years we have been helping our members to educate their palate. During that time we have introduced countless new members with a passion for wine to the joy of wine appreciation.

No matter who you are or what you do, Winetasters is for you. Our common denominator is people who have a yearning to learn more about wine. We have around 350 members, but we are always looking to expand our membership. Winetasters separates the price of membership from the price of tastings. Members can then choose to pay only for the tastings that are of interest to them.

Individual Membership in Winetasters costs $40 per year.
Two people at a shared address can join for only $60.

This fee pays for mailings and other costs of operating the club. Our "membership year" starts in September. If you join the club between January and August, your membership fee includes the current year and the following year.

Tastings are priced on a break-even basis, based on the actual cost of the wines being poured (plus cost of room rental, etc.). Usually they range in price from about $40 to $70.

We offer the opportunity to be placed on our temporary mailing list for three months free of charge. You will receive our regular mailings or emails, and you can attend events, at guest rates, as long as space is available. Note that members have priority if space is limited. This way, you can try out the group, and see whether you wish to join. Information about joining the group will be included in your first mailing.

The mailings you will receive will also include a membership form, and information about joining the group. To attend an event, you must send in the reservation form and a cheque, to arrive at least one week before the tasting. You will be contacted only if you cannot be accommodated.

To be placed on our temporary Canada Post mailing list for three months, please contact us. Our mailings are sent out early each month, except in June and July.
