I / WE CERTIFY AND AGREE:

1. that I / we am / are of legal drinking age (19 years of age or older). Or if this is a gift membership, I certify that the person(s) for whom I am buying this gift membership is/are of legal drinking age;


2. to release The WINETASTERS SOCIETY OF TORONTO and its directors and officers from any loss, claim, expense, damage or liability whatsoever suffered by the member or the member’s guests relating to or arising from attending such functions, and the consumption of alcohol or food at such functions, and/or the cancellation or change in event or venue of any such function;


3. to indemnify and hold harmless The WINETASTERS SOCIETY OF TORONTO. and its directors and officers from any loss, claim, expense, damage or liability whatsoever suffered by the Club relating to or arising from the member and the member’s guests attending such functions, and the consumption of alcohol or food at such functions.

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA S.C. 2000, c. 5), the WINETASTERS SOCIETY OF TORONTO [WT] collects personal data including name, address, telephone and email information for the purpose of establishing eligibility of membership and for distributing materials and information relating to club business. WT does not and will not share, publish, sell, or distribute personal information to/with other organizations without the written consent of its members. To help promote the club and answer enquiries from the public and general membership, Board Members/Directors agree to have their names published on the club’s website. All members agree to receive event notices and other information relating to club business via electronic means.
